These terms are written for the current MVP: a free static QR generator. They should be reviewed before paid accounts go live.
Using the free generator
You may use QR for Free to create static QR codes for personal or commercial use. Free static QR codes do not require an account, card, or subscription.
Your content
You are responsible for the content encoded in your QR codes and for making sure you have the right to use any URLs, logos, names, contact details, or materials you include.
No scanning guarantee
We provide scan-quality guidance, but scanning depends on printing quality, contrast, size, surface, lighting, camera software, and the encoded content. Always test important QR codes before printing or publishing.
Prohibited use
You may not use QR for Free to create or distribute codes for phishing, malware, fraud, spam, illegal content, deceptive impersonation, or activity that harms people, infrastructure, or trust in the product.
Future paid features
Dynamic QR, accounts, billing, analytics, API, teams, and custom domains are planned paid features. Their commercial terms must be added before those features are sold.
